residential and industrial subdivision, development of commercial, industrial and retail projects, as well as medium and high-density residential development.
• Member of the Victorian Planning and Environmental Law Association. • Former World Cup Freestyle competitor and Mt Buller Resident.

Site Location
• Site location was determined through the use of a Multi Criteria Assessment process based upon 35 criteria taken from the Alpine Planning Scheme, the RMB Strategic Plan and other project specific objectives.
• Key project criteria are: Geotechnical Suitability/Risk Resort Recreation Utility/Impact Environmental Impact Construction Costs
• Preliminary Geotech and flora and fauna assessments of the site have been undertaken.
• Detailed Geotech and flora and fauna assessments are being commenced
which will influence the final design, Planning Permit Application and Business Case.

• 40km cross country descending trail from Buller-Stirling, through Mansfield State Forest (DEPI) and Mt Russell Education Area (PV)
• Will be the first EPIC mountain bike trail in Australia endorsed by IMBA (International Mountain Biking Association)
• Attracted both State and Federal funding with Resort Management as lead Agency and Project Manager
• After 4 years of planning, construction commenced on December 2

Project Objectives:
• Primary: All weather, all vehicle alternative access for public and emergency management, access and egress.
• Secondary: Better link the two resorts: • Complementary activities & facilities, • Efficiencies, • Touring opportunities
Current Status: • Route Alignment finalised • Planning Application and Documentation lodged and following the
planning course • In Process of Appointing Tender for Civil Engineering Consultant • Construction to commence early 2014 subject to planning approval. • Construction duration - two summer seasons.
