Vacation in Underground River

In April 9, 2012 I was so happy because we had a memorable moment; we went to the Underground River in Sabang together with Kuya Bernard, Ange, Diane, 3 housemothers, Maam Danlyn and RC girls. First in the morning we prepared our snacks for our travel. We started to go at around 7:00 am. We were very much excited to see different rock formations made up by nature. We arrived at Sabang at 11:00 pm. Then we ate our lunch near the beach. After that, we waited for our boat. While others were waiting, Ange, Paula, Jessabelle, and others went to the beach for swimming. At 1:00 pm, we prepared ourselves to board in 3 boats. In the boat, we were worried because we were scared in the deep sea. When we went out of the boat, we were happy and excited and we took many pictures. When we were in the yard of the cave, we were so happy and amazed to see different shapes of stones. All of us were so happy. We arrived at 4:00 pm and we came back at 6:00 pm. Why I like to go to school?

I like to go to school because I have many friends there and I learn a lot of subjects like science, English,

Filipino, MSEP and EPP. I learn in our school how to take care of garden and I learn how to do mixtures.

Last Sept 12, 2012 Kuya Bernard bought 2 puppies from Brgy Tagumpay. He bought them because he wants to have many animals to take care of. That’s why we will take good care of them also. Did you know why I really want to take good care of

animals? It’s so easy to do this kind of work: you can give them food; clean their cage/ plate and give them a bath. Sometimes puppies are naughty and noisy but it is ok for me because I really enjoyed their company. And Kuya Bernard save also one

baby monkey and a squirrel. It is fun having this kind of animals in RC Ailyn

I am very happy because I am already in Grade 2. I have many friends in the RC like Paula, Jessabelle, Melvie. I am very proud because I have a new uniform, lot of notebooks

and a new bag for school. I play with my classmates at school but I never forget to study my lessons and to do my

homework every day! I’m top 14 of my classroom and I’m so happy for that. My favorite subjects are Sibika and English.

My Birthday

Last August 10, 2012 we celebrated my birthday in the RC. Our menu for my

birthday was salad, spaghetti and juice puto. I invited my 1 classmate. I really

enjoyed my birthday celebration together with the RC girls and all the staff of Alouette

RESIDENTIAL CENTER FOR GIRLS IN PALAWAN

Gardening

On October 11, 2012 my classmates and me prepared our geometric garden in Alouette Foundation natural farm. We made a plot in a soil using recycles can, coconut trees and uses bottles. It was our project in math and this project has to represent different shapes like triangle, circle, and a square. In the afternoon I made my projects in Filipino and character education. All of our projects were appreciated by our teachers because they were very creative and colorful. We learned a lot about this like cooperation, participation and self-discipline with each other. Fashion’s day

Fashion’s day was the best day for me because we made a simple gown and we participated at the activity: it was an activity prepared by Tita Anne-Laure. Before

we started to fashion, we had to introduce ourselves then we started to fashion our dress. While we were walking there were judges to judge our gown and also our

walk. After that it was time to announce who was the queen. Then Ate Ronalyn got the award of Miss RC 2012. Also all the RC girls had an award. I am so thankful

because we show our talents in fashion thanks to tita Anne-Laure. Margie

Rona’s Birthday

Last July 14, 2012 we celebrated my birthday: it was on Saturday morning until afternoon. On the morning we cooked

different kind of foods, like spaghetti, puto and cake. All the RC girls greeted me. I was so happy because of that especially when Kuya Bernard greeted me. I think more than ten times! After we cooked, we went to Balsahan for celebration of my birthday also because Ange wanted to go swimming. When

we were there Kuya Bernard left with Ailyn and Jennifer. I didn’t know why but when he came back he brought one cake for me. I was thankful for that. The other girls join swimming

but I was not able to go with them because the water was too cold. At 5 o’clock pm we went back to Luzviminda. We ate the

cake in Alouette center at 7 o’clock pm. This was my unforgettable birthday. I would like to thanks Kuya Bernard because he bought me a cake, Alouette’s staff and also the

RC girls because they also helped me to cook food. That’s all. I love you all!.

Biogas System

Through the courtesy of German volunteers of Chance For Growth and approval of Kuya Bernard Pierquin, last March 3, 2012 the biogas was installed in RC center. The installation of biogas ended on March 9, 2012. This day was also the day of the 1st

conference of biogas in Palawan. The conference was held in Alouette Foundation ground. Members of Alouette sponsorship program, residence of Luzviminda and some media people were invited to attend the biogas conference. The biogas can help the neighborhoods. It can provide light, gas and that’s economical. This is such a big help for us we really thank you very much for this. Angeline
