‘linx-Audio’ Multi Room Audio System

resi-linx ‘linx-Audio’ Multi Room Audio System allows consumers to listen to their desired music source from different speaker zones throughout the home.

With the addition of the Local Input Module in each room you can listen to your own personal player (MP3, DVD etc) within that room without affecting the other zones throughout the system.

The Volume Controls are modern in appearance with LCD display and backlit buttons for source selection, volume, and power on/off. The remote facility enables control of functions allowing personal zone settings for adjustment to bass, treble and boost features. IR return path gives you the flexibility to control the centrally located audio source from each zone.

The system transmits 4 audio source signals to 4 Amplified Volume Controls. The Distribution Module Hub offers flexibility to installers as it can be situated either where the AV devices are located, or remotely.

The Remote Input Plate facility elevates the resi-linx ‘linx-Audio’ Multi Room Audio system to a new level. This wall plate allows you to connect device/s from a remote location to the Input Module Hub via UTP (Cat5e) cable. Ideal for computers, media servers and other devices positioned around the home enabling connection to the system.

‘linx-AV’ Balun / Matrix AV Range

The res i - l inx ‘ l inx-AV ’ Balun and Matr ix range of fer stand-alone AV solutions for all your Composite and Component Video and Audio Distribution requirements.

resi-linx Composite AV Baluns are ideal for sending an AV signal from one location to another - up to 300m away. Transmission of power through the cable enables remote powering of a CCTV camera.

Use resi-linx 1:1 Component Baluns to send Component Video and Digital Audio signals along the cable up to 100m.

Both our Composite and Component Baluns are sold as a set, and use a single UTP cable.

Our new ‘linx-AV’ Composite and Component Balun systems are ideal for distributing an AV device (Foxtel etc.) from one area to up to 4 locations around the home or business. Both these systems allow for AV source Loop Through, facilitating enhanced connectivity.

At the height of the range, our ‘linx-AV’ Matrix Switches offer Composite and Component solutions, distributing 4 sources to up to 8 zones.

Taking this one step further, both the Composite and Component Matrix Solutions offer our ‘ l inx-IR’ Discrete IR feature, allowing two of the same receiver (Foxtel etc.) to be distributed around the home/business, and be independantly controlled from different rooms.

Both the ‘linx-AV’ Multi Zone and Matrix Solutions feature return path IR. Adding resi-linx IR Targets and Emitters to these systems allows independant control of the AV devices from each zone.

The Composite Matrix Switch is a single cable solution, while the Component Matrix Switch offering enhanced Component video quality distribution, is a two cable system. RS-232 connectivity makes this product ideal for connecting to systems for control.

IR Control

®

With the addition of the resi-linx Audio Input Module, audio signals distributed by any balun within the ‘linx-AV’ range can be heard through in-ceiling / in-wall speakers. The Audio Input Module connects locally from the Receiver Balun connection to an Amplified Volume Control and speakers within that zone, greatly enhancing sound performance and is ideal for larger rooms.

‘linx-IR’ Discrete IR System

resi-l inx ‘ l inx-IR’ is a patented stand alone Discrete Infra Red System using UTP (Cat 5/6) cable. The system sends IR signals to AV devices from multiple zones back to a central location.

The heart of the ‘linx-IR’ system is the Distribution Module. Emitter output ports are divided up to be either Common, Discrete A, Discrete B, or Direct IR lead connection to an AV device.

Each zone then requires a compact Receiver Module (inc. slimline target). This receives IR commands from remote controls, sending the signals through the Distribution Module. Simply select via dip switch Discrete A (and/or) Discrete B (and/or) Common, and correspond to emitter ports on the Distribution Module. Discrete A and B are used in situations where there are two of the same AV devices installed in the distribution system (eg. Foxtel ) that require independant control of each box.

l inx-IR’s patented design allows you (at each target) to simply select the emitter output you wish to control from that zone. This feature enables independant control of two of the same receiver (Foxtel etc.) from different rooms. The system is easy to install using Plug ‘N’ Play connectivity, and is perfect for use with any distribution equipment including Video, Audio etc.

The f ramework for this system is the Modulator, Video Hub and IR Co nt ro l . Th e M o d u l ato r co nve r t s t h e s i gn a l s to a s e l e c t a b l e U H F channel, the Video Hub combines the modulated signal with the Free To Air signal on one coax cable and splits it to 8+ TV points around the home/business. Video Hubs

With the addition of resi-linx Targets and Emitters, you can send an IR signal back down the existing RF cable, allowing control of the AV equipment from the other TV’s around the home. All resi-linx IR systems are LCD/LED Panel and Plasma Friendly, and Foxtel iQ / iQ2 compatible.

Infra Red Control

Modulators
