(TEACHING BASIC ENGLISH TO THE NEIGHBORINGSCHOOL CHILDREN)INTRODUCTION: The students from the local

government school are tought by us the Basic

English. As the part of Intel project we arranged a

teaching program of Basic English for them for one

week.

We started our teaching

program with a test to

know their previousknowledge about English. In

this we came to know that

most of the students are

below average so we

started our program by

teaching them alphabets &

we taught them the

following things by usingthe computer.

Conclusion:

We concluded our teaching

program on 16-12-2010.By

conducting one test the studentswho were average & below

average have improved as it is

evident in the pie chart above.We hope that this program which

is our sincere effort to serve the

community has benefitted them

& they have learnt so many

things in this.
