1. THE BASIS TO CONDUCT THE STUDY

Samples delivered by the Client.

The qualitative composition of the products delivered by the Client.

The results of microbiological purity of the products provided by the Client.

Negative result of dermatological patch tests provided by the Client.

The Client is responsible for conformity with the declared quality composition of the products,

as well as microbiological purity test of the delivered samples.

SCOPE OF TESTS COMPLIANT WITH:

Regulation of the European Parliament and of the Council (EC) No. 1223/2009 of 30

November 2009 on cosmetic products.

Cosmetics Europe – The Personal Care Association (previously COLIPA) Guidelines

"Product Test Guidelines for the Assessment of Human Skin Compatibility 1997."

Cosmetics Europe – The Personal Care Association (previously COLIPA) Guidelines

for the Evaluation of the Efficacy of Cosmetic Products 2008.

2.1 Description of the products

WATER before applying SPOTS NEVER AGAIN FLUID. Wait for 5 minutes then complete the ritual with BACK TO BALANCE MOISTURIZER.

2.2 Qualitative composition of the products (INCI) The qualitative compositions* were delivered to the laboratory, by the Client, before the start

of the study.

* The Client is responsible for conformity of declared composition of the products with Regulation

1223/2009.

3. AIM OF THE STUDY

Confirmation/exclusion of the declared properties and efficiency of the set of products.

3.1 Study duration 4 weeks (28.11.2018 - 27.12.2018)

3.2 Testing methodology

3.2.1 Assessment of the comedogenic and acneigenic potential The technician count amount of inflammatory lesions (papules and pustules) and non-

inflammatory lesions (blackheads and microcystes) before treatment (D0) and after 4 weeks of

regular application (D28). Lesions are counted on whole face except the nose area. After the

end of the study in case of increase in the number of lesions the technician assessed the

relations with the products. The study has been carried out on 20 subjects. If the difference between D28 and D0 for each parameter does not change or does not increase

significantly then the product is non comedogenic /non acneigenic.

3.2.2 Instrumental test

3.2.2.1 The highest resolution of full face photos by using VisioFace®

RD

VisioFace®

RD has been used to take highest resolution full face photos under standardized

conditions for the documentation of efficacy of the products. The study has been conducted

using special measuring device manufactured by Courage + Khazaka Company. Instrumental

study has been carried out on 10 subjects. The images have been taken before application (D0)

and after 4 weeks (D28) of regular use. The study has been carried out in an air conditioned

room in the temp. of 20±2ºC and relative humidity 50±10%. The product efficacy is confirmed

in case of the positive results obtained in more than 50% of subjects.

4. DESCRIPTION OF SUBJECTS

Inclusion criteria:

Sign an informed consent to participate in the study, were informed about the

purpose of the study, the manner of its conduct and the possible side effects.

GENERAL

The site of product application without irritation and changes requiring

pharmacological treatment (specialist evaluation).

Amount of subjects:

20 – comedogenic and acneigenic potential, including 10

people – instrumental test

Gender: Women, men

SPECIFIC

Age: 18 – 40

Skin type: Oily and combination skin

Other: Acne and prone to acne

The qualified subjects received the tested products and were obliged to:

regular use of the products according to the method of use, during the test any other

products of similar effects must not be used, in case of any side effects on skin they should

immediately stop using the products and consult specialist at J.S. Hamilton Poland.

The test results may be affected by such factors as:

type and condition at the site of product application, inter-individual genetic characteristics, individual preferences of subjects.

Under this study condition, after 4 weeks of products use, all parameters presented decrease of

values. One acneigenic reaction [11.WOR AG] with no imputability to the products was presented.

Conclusion: The set of products BACK TO BALANCE: BACK TO BALANCE MICELLAR

WATER, BACK TO BALANCE MOISTURIZER, SPOTS NEVER AGAIN FLUID AND RESTORE

TO DEFENCE CREAM is non comedogenic and non acneigenic.

TO DEFENCE CREAM improves the overall appearance of the skin.

6. CONCLUSION

Under these study conditions, after 4 weeks of regular application is concluded, that the set of

products BACK TO BALANCE: BACK TO BALANCE MICELLAR WATER, BACK TO BALANCE

MOISTURIZER, SPOTS NEVER AGAIN FLUID AND RESTORE TO DEFENCE CREAM: is non comedogenic and non acneigenic,
