The following academic activities were organized by North Zone

during this period -

1. RCOG MRCOG Part II Enhanced Revision Program with virtual

classroom training

Venue: Virtual on-line classroom Conveners: Dr Saritha Shamsunder, Dr Meenakshi Sahu, Dr Priti Gupta, Dr Arbinder Dang Dates - 25 sessions over 5 months – September 2012 to March2013 8 Delegates logged on to a virtual online classroom every weekend.

8. Examinations conducted

Part I & Part II MRCOG Examinations on 2nd& 3rd September 2013 were organized by Dr JB Sharma and Dr Sohani Verma at Indraprastha Apollo Hospitals, New Delhi.

9. 28th AICC RCOG Annual National Conference with Nine Pre & Post

Workshops on 28 August to 2 September 2013 was organized by the

North Zone in New Delhi

- There were 74 Free Communications.

11 awards were given away for the best paper in each category.

- A Postgraduate student’s quiz was organized. Preliminary rounds were

conducted by all 4 zones. The two winners from each zone participated in the final rounds in New Delhi on 1st September.

(i) Workshop on ‘Learning Art Skills on 18 – 20 June 2013 organized by Dr Sonal Bathla of Sant Parmanand Hospital, Delhi at Kalingcha Homestay Manali under the ageis of North Zone AICC RCOG, and IMS. 23 participants

(ii) Workshop on “Peace and Self Introspection” on 21 – 23 June 2013 organized by Dr Sonal Bathla at the same place under the ageis of North Zone AICC RCOG. 17 Participants
