Our facilities offer a variety of refurbishment capabilities incorporating work on covered hoppers, open top hoppers, boxcars, gondolas, double-stack cars, tank cars, and all types of flatcars. Greenbrier Rail Services supplies both new and reconditioned wheel sets on an outright purchase or exchange basis to railroads, maintenance centers, and repair shops across the U.S. and Mexico.
GRS provides total wheel set inventory management to our customers utilizing a proprietary, web-enabled transaction and reporting system. Through this system, our customers realize freight as well as administrative savings on all types of components and procured items.

American Hydraulics, Greenbrier Castings, GMO Parts, and YSD Industries are wholly owned subsidiaries of Greenbrier Rail Services and manufacture railcar component parts.
We collaborate with you to provide high value solutions to your problems, through innovative engineering, quality manufacturing, and enhanced service.
Since 90% of the energy used to manufacture new products is used to process raw materials, remanufactured and refurbished products offer a significant energy savings. Reuse conserves valuable natural resources, minimizes waste, and remanufactured or reconditioned products offer significant cost savings.
