Umuziwabantu Municipality Solar PV Project
The success of the solar farm will have significant social impacts because it will increase electricity available on the grid and reduce spending by the municipality, thereby freeing up budget for service de-livery projects.
Umuziwabantu Municipality aims to reduce carbon emissions, and has made it a top priority to investigate the opportunity of using renewable energy. We aim to start by utilizing as much of our building rooftops as possible to generate power for own use.
