When you next login to RBC Hub, you will be prompted to setup two-factor authentication (2FA).
There are 5-steps to complete the 2FA setup process:1 – Checklist (this sets out the prerequisites to setting up 2FA)
2 – Download The RSA App
3 – Set PIN
4 – Scan QR Code
5 – Test Token
Once sign-up is complete, you will be automatically logged off and will be required to log back in using your soft token.

Token Setup FlowYou will need to complete a 1-time setup process to setup your soft token

Standard Login FlowOnce you are enrolled for 2FA, your login will look like this:

If you need to re-setup the token (e.g. you have a new mobile device) then you can follow the re-setup token flow:
• Login as normal entering your Login ID and Password
• Select the ‘Security Passcode Problems’ link when prompted for your security passcode
• From the popup window, select the ‘Setup the soft token again’ option and select ‘Next’
• Enter the requested characters from your Security Answer
• You will be taken back through the 5-step token setup flow. (Please note that you will not be required to enter your PIN on step 3).
*Note – if token is setup on a new device it will invalidate the token on the old device.

If you need to reset the PIN (e.g. you want to change it or have forgotten it) then you can follow the below flow:
• Login as normal entering your Login ID and Password
• Select the ‘Security Passcode Problems’ link when prompted for your security passcode
• From the popup window, select the ‘I have forgotten my PIN’ option and select ‘Next’
• Enter the requested characters from your Security Answer
• You will then be able to choose a new PIN.
*Note – your PIN should be 4-6 digits long, and must contain numbers only.

Android & Apple iOS Users
• Using your phone or tablet, open your respective app store (Android users please use the Play Store, and Apple iOS users please open the App Store)
• Search for RSA SecurID Software Token
• The app will have the following icon and is published by RSA Security
• Click the install button
• Once installed, the RSA SecurID Software Token app icon will appear on your home screen

Once the RSA SecurID Software Token app is installed, open the app by selecting the RSA icon on your home screen
You will be prompted to read and accept the licence agreement
From the ‘Welcome’ screen select the icon
Select the ‘Scan QR Code’ option
If you are prompted to grant access to your camera please select ‘OK’
Scan the QR code displayed in RBC hub to import your software token

Once the RSA SecurID Software Token app is installed, open the app by selecting the RSA icon on your home screen
You will be prompted to read and accept the licence agreement
From the ‘Welcome’ screen select the ‘Import Token’ button
Select the ‘Scan QR Code’ option
If you are prompted to grant access to your camera please select ‘ALLOW’
Scan the QR code displayed in RBC hub to import your software token

Once the RSA SecurID Software is installed, open the app and accept any disclaimers/terms & conditions
Select ‘Import From Web’
Enter the URL and activation code displayed on the website & select ‘OK’
Message will be displayed confirming that token has been imported

Select the RBC Hub token (if required)
Enter your PIN
Select the blue icon
Security passcode is displayed

Select the ‘Menu’ button within the RSA App to display your tokens
Select ‘Edit’ and select the red icon to delete the token

Select ‘Delete Token’
Select ‘OK’ to confirm

Select the RBC Hub Token (you may have other tokens setup so make sure you have the RBC Hub token selected first)
Click the ‘Options’ button
Select ‘Manage Token’ / ‘Delete Token’
A prompt will be displayed
Select ‘Yes’ to delete the token

Scroll down to ‘Token’
Select ‘Token’
Under ‘Allow Token To Access’ ensure camera is enabled
