Pray for Muslims:

“Continue steadfastly in prayer, being watchful in it with thanksgiving. At the same time, pray alsofor us, that God may open to us a door for the word, to declare the mystery of Christ, on account of

which I am in prison—that I may make it clear, which is how I ought to speak. Walk in wisdom towardoutsiders, making the best use of the time. Let your speech always be gracious, seasoned with salt,

so that you may know how you ought to answer each person.” (Colossians 4:2–6)

Pray for a Muslim you know (by name) everyday.Pray Muslims will find a Bible within theirreach, and read it with an open heart andmind.Pray and ask the Lord to place Christians intheir circle of friends—who will share theGospel with boldness.Pray for Muslims to have a new interest inwho Jesus claimed to be, and what Hisatonement on the Cross means for theirsalvation.Pray they will be overwhelmed by the truthof the Gospel message and respond withrepentant hearts!Ask the Holy Spirit to give Muslims a realunderstanding of personal sin. Pray for their spiritual and physical health.Pray for Muslims to have dreams that drivethem to learn more about Jesus. Pray for Muslim immigrants to meetChristians who are ready to help them withGospel-driven love.Pray for them to understand the lovingfatherhood of God.Pray that Muslims will evaluate theirspiritual state based on the Bible alone andsee the lack of hope provided throughIslam.

Pray for the Church:Pray that Muslim-background believers willhave joy about sharing the Gospel, ratherthan fear.Pray that believers will have wisdom aboutthe best way to start Gospel conversationswith Muslims. Ask that they will be bold andask questions that lead to the Gospel.Pray that churches in Muslim countries willhave access to meet and disciple one-another.Pray that believers will understand theiridentity in Christ. Ask the Lord to help themabide in Christ and bear spiritual fruit.Pray for the Holy Spirit to give believers loveand boldness to share with their families.Pray for Christians to remain steadfast andimmovable under the intense pressure fromthe government and Islamic authorities. Ask the Lord to build up the Church. Praythat they would rest in Christ deeply, andtrust one another in ways that create strongunity among the body of Christ. Pray for new converts to Christianity to trustone another as brothers as sisters and thatthe Holy Spirit would use this visible love ofthe Church to proclaim the glory of Jesus.

Pray for Yourself:

Pray for love (Matthew 5:43-46).Pray for opportunities to speak the Truth tothose around you (Colossians 2:4-6).Pray for boldness (Acts 4:23-31).Pray for spiritual strength (Ephesians 3:14-21).Ask the Lord to teach you to lovesacrificially and intentionally, just as He firstloved me and gave yourself for me. Pray for a deep burden toward those lost inthe lies of Islam to see the light of Jesus,and respond in faith. Pray and expect Jesus to open doors on aregular basis. Ask the Lord to remove any culturalmisunderstandings of Jesus that you havenaturally accumulated over time. Ask the Lord to help you grasp the bigpicture of the Bible in a way that helps youworship Jesus more fully.Ask the Lord to open your eyes toopportunities to meet Muslims that you’vebeen overlooking all along.

Pray for boldness among missionary teamsin Muslim countries. Pray for theirendurance, love, and boldness.Pray that God will send missionaries whowill build long-term relationships with thepeople. Pray for the faith and boldness ofmissionaries in Muslim countries. Pray fortheir safety from physical persecution. Praythey will live lives that openly proclaimJesus through words and actions that bringglory to God. Pray for missionaries. Ask God to fill themup with encouragement from team in thefield. Ask the Lord to connect missionaries withpersons of peace who are ready to repentand receive the Gospel — and that they willact as bridge builders into various pocketsof people unreached with the Gospel.
