DashboardYourdashboarddisplaysyouractivityontheQuizzicalcourse.Itisdividedintothreeparts:quizquestionsyoucomposedorneedtocompose(MyQuestions),graphsofthequestionpoolandprogressstatistics(QuizStatistics),andinformationaboutyourcurrentperformanceintheQuizzicalcourse(MyProgress).

MyQuestions

ThecourseinstructorhassetuptheQuizzicalcourseinwaythateachstudentisassignedaspecificnumberofassignmentstosubmitthroughoutthecourse.Anassignmentconsistsofanumberofquestionsthatastudentisassignedtocompose.Eachquestionislinkedtoaparticularlecture,andshouldbedesignedtotestknowledgeaboutaparticularlecturecontent.

Forexample,thisdashboardshowsthatthestudenthasbeenassignedfourdifferentassignmentsforlectures1through4,andneedstosubmittwoquestionsperassignment.However,inmostcasesyouwillonlysubmitonequestionperassignment,onagivenlecture.Lec.No:Thelecturenumberyouhavebeenassignedtosubmitquestionsfor.Lecturesarenumberedsequentially,soLecture1isthefirstlectureinthecourse,Lecture2isforthesecond,etc.Inmanycasesyouwillbeassignedonceortwicethroughouttheterm,inwhichcaseyouwillbeabletotrackyourassignmentduedatesusingthedashboard.LectureDate:Thedatewhentheactuallectureclasstookorwilltakeplace.QuestionNumber:Thequestionnumberinthisparticularassignment.Questionnumbersarealsonumberedsequentiallyperlecture.

DueDate:Theduedateoftheassignment.Theinstructordetermineswhetherornottoexpireoverduequestions.Pleasemakesuretosubmityourquestionsbeforetheduedate.TA:Theteachingassistantassignedtoreviewyoursubmissions.TAswillbeassignedafteraquestioniscomposedandsubmitted.Grade:Thegradeyoureceivedforaquestion.GradesareprovidedbyeithertheTAortheinstructorStatus:Questionwhichhavenotyetbeencompletedcanhavefourdifferentstatus:

• Active:Thelecturedatehasarrivedandyouhavenotyetsubmittedthequestion.Youmustsubmitthequestionbythespecifiedduedate.

• RequiresEditing:Yousubmittedaquestion,anditwasgraded.Somefeedbackhasbeenprovidedonhowtoimprovethequestion,andyouhaveuntiltheduedatetocompleteyourquestionsubmission.

• Inactive:Thelecturehasnotyetbeendelivered.Youcannotcomposequestionsforlecturesthatwilltakeplaceinafuturedate.

• Expired:Thequestionduedatehaspassed.Youwillnotbeallowedtocomposethequestion(unlessallowedbytheinstructor)

Action:Theparticularactionthatyouneedtodoforthequestion,dependingonthequestionstatus.TheexampleaboveshowsthatallquestionsarestillActive,andthustherequiredactionistoComposethequestions.

QuizStatistics

TheQuizStatisticsdisplaysgraphicalrepresentationsofQuizPoolStatistics,whichispresentedonaperlecturebasis.Thishelpsyoutorecognizewhatyouknowandwhereyouarehavingproblems.Onthesecondgraph,youroverallperformanceonthecoursequizzesisshownchronologically,sothatyoucanseehowwellyouconsistentlyengagewiththecoursematerial.

Youcanchoosetodisplaydataforaspecificdaterange,ortoshowonlyvalidparticipationmarks.Validparticipationmarksarereceivedforalectureif:

- thequizwasattemptedwithinasetnumberofdaysfromthelecturedate- aminimumnumberofquestionswereattemptedforalecture,and- aminimumscorewasreceivedinaquiz
