How much is the fee? • Covers all patents that are essential to build a DRM

radio (stereo) – a system license – No charge per unit for first 1,000 units

– $ 1.70 per units 1,001 to 500,000

– $ 1.50for units 500,001 to 1,000,000

– $ 1.38 for units 1,000,001 to 5,000,000

– $ 1.13 for units 5,000,001 to 10,000,000

– $ 0.88 for units 10,000,001 to 15,000,000

– $ 0.50 for units 15,000,001 or more

– Consumer Products with more than two Channels count as 1.5 units

– An initial fee of $ 1,000 is charged for taking out a licence agreement

• Professional equipment: 2% percent of end-user product price with a minimum of $ 100 and a maximum $ 2,000 per product
