FINE TIMESBOB_SCOTT went from Red Badgeto Blue Badge. Thisaccomplishment cost him $5 00DAVE LORFN7PM asked PRESIDENTGARY where his badge was. DAVEwas informed that it was in thebox. $5.00 for the PRES. ERICVAN CLEAVE thought he did~^grand job of setting up aPresidents' challenge betweenour PRESIDENT ftRPV and pHILWRIGHT. ERIC was especiallyproud that he was able to getthe challenge changed fromrunning to arm wrestling. Allthis excitement cost ERICM,0,0;00- Another IMfr-m?mmSMtW® 1M*. JOHN DOLINSEKwent with BARBARA on j biketrip to Santa Barbara. When hetried to convince us it was abusiness trip there were notakers. JOHN was taken for$20.00. It seems that ARCF \JULIAN'S wife SUSAN won't q^Jin the car with him if thebikes are attached. She isgoing to make an exception.
FINE ilMES (cont'd)They are going to drive toSanta Barbara, then peddlearound Morro Bay and Solvang. This was $10 compromise forARCHIE. CAPTAIN PETREE, betterknown to us as PETER TRELEAVENwas nearly court martialed on arecent camping trip. Thetrouble started when the tentpole broke. PETE's dad (theColonel) and his God-Father(the General) asked PETE to getthe tool box. PETER had MARIES
car, no tool box! PETE's three
kids looked on in wonder. What^=is going to happen? This
spense cost PETER $10.00. TOMEAKIN was presented with apackage of sponges fromPRESIDENT GARY'S wife, CAROLYN,with a message that she didn'tsteal them. We now have torn
yellow pages, a tie, andsponges from last Wednesdaynights meeting at GARYs. Theplot thickens as the finesincrease, another $5.00. JIMKNAUFF was accused of throwinghis business cards in theparking lot. PRESIDENT GARY wasgoing to impose a $5.00 finefor such blatant advertising, when LORETTA SLYH stood up tothe four way test. Seems shedropped the card and couldn'tfind it. $5.00 for LORETTA.CATHY VYENIELO. our newest
member, didn't waste any timegetting to know her fellowrotarians. She recently wentout to dinner with a spouse
i ile the rotarian was out ofV^wn. She was fined $10.00 eventhough the spouse was MARILYNPRATT. MIKE SASS and JIM KNAUFF
(what a combination) couldn't
keep their auction paddlesstill at a recent golf benefit.MIKE paid $450.00 for a 49ershirt signed by Jerry Rice.JIM, not to be outdone, paid$750 for a signed Joe Montanashirt. It seems there is acloud over the authenticity ofthe signatures, but no matter,MIKE was fined $10 and JIM$5.00.
