    Pre-flight Preparation

    Before commencing a flight, thorough preparation should be completed to

    ensure safe and efficient flying.

    Preparation for the flight includes checking of:

    )t is *B++ policy for the - to uplift, in addition to the re/uired trip fuel, at

    fuel! and a MINIMUM final reser2e figure of 400g! "o *B++ - flight should

    land 3ith less than -kg of fuel on board.

    "aturally, the final reser2e fuel and the contingency fuel can both be increased

    at the 'aptain4s discretion, taking into consideration any 3eather or operationallimitations. $he standard ta5i fuel figure for the - is 6kg though once again,

    more can be added if the 'aptain anticipates a long ta5i (e.g. %&7 or 'D8!.

    $ankering fuel is acceptable, though it is company policy to land 3ith no "ore

    than 9,6kg of fuel on board unless in e5ceptional circumstances. +5planation

    for landing 3ith greater fuel /uantity may be re/uired.

    %lternate airports should be chosen on the basis of 3eather, "#$%&s and
