Introduction

•Human activities over the past 50 years have caused an increased release of C02 and other greenhouse gases into the atmosphere, which is causing heat in the lower atmosphere to become trapped and affect climate change.

•Over the past 100 years the Earths surface has warmed by 0.75°C (WHO, 2014).

•Increases of up to 2°C are predicted to have catastrophic effects on our planet.
