1X Parameters BSS PTT version

Parameter value definition:

1: Version of basic enhanced group call;

2: Support terminal quick access;

3: Support big group paging;

4: It was proposed to support negative timeslot. But due to poor stability, this is a useless value;

5: Support negative timeslot and the functions in the first stage of Traditional Group Call;

6: Functions in the second stage of Traditional Group Call; supplemental channel transfers signaling; Access terminal takes the initiative to exit.

7: Support big dispatch function.

8: Support Group Watching function.

0 ~ 99.

8. In the GoTa office, set this parameter as 8.

The base station is able to support the negative timeslot if the value of this parameter >=5.

The base station is able to support the traditional group call terminal take the initiative of exiting if the value of this parameter >=6.

The base station is able to support the unlimited group call if the value of this parameter >=7.

The base station is able to support the Group Watching if the value of this parameter >=8.

Threshold of initial PTT-SCH forward outer loop Eb/Nt. It is a binary supplemental code when Initial PTT SCH Outer Loop Eb/Nt setpoint option is 1.

0~255, Scale: 0.125 dB.

40.

If the parameter is set too high, initial PTT-SCH forward transmit power is high, in which case forward capacity decreases. If it is set too low, forward transmit power of PTT-SCH at the initial setup stage may not be able to meet requirement.
