The flag for El Salvdor was inspired by the Federal Republic of Central America. They have dos flags one has the coat of arms and

the other has “DIOS UNION LIBERTAD” written on it. One of the flags are used for civil

purposes. The actual blue and white stripes in flag are based on the importance of añil

exports, añil was commonly used as a source for indigo dye. It was adopted in March 17,

1912 . The color on the flag is blue(azul) and white( blanco).

CAROLINAS FLAG WAS ADOPTED ON MAY 20TH,

1861 AND IT WAS PRESENTED BY JOHN D.

WHIRTFORD. THE DESIGN WAS PROVIDED BY

WILLIAM JARL BROWNE. THE FLAG FIELD WAS
