ATTENDANCE• School attendance is compulsory. If a student is absent from
school, the student must present a Medical Certificate or letter from parents/guardians to explain the absence upon returning to school.
• If your child is unwell, bring him/her to see a doctor. He/she should stay at home and rest.
• If anyone at home is not feeling well / serving quarantine orders,
notify the teachers immediately and keep your child at home.
The school will advise on the next cause of action.
• Flag raising ceremony will start at 7.30 a.m.
• All students are to be in their classrooms by 7.25 a.m. as they need to do their daily wipe-down and temperature-taking routine.
• Students will be deemed late for school if they arrive at school after 7.30 a.m.
• Students may be given disciplinary consequences if they are habitually late for school.
• Let us instil in our students the value of responsibility
PUNCTUALITY
LUNCH
• We DO NOT encourage our students to exit the school to have lunch if they have after-school activities.
• They can have their lunch at the school canteen.
• Due to SMM, we have staggered lunch breaks within curriculum time to cater for after-school activities. Eg CCA, remedial/supplementary days.
HANDPHONE POLICY
NO USAGE OF MOBILE PHONE WITHIN SCHOOL COMPOUND
1. Not to take out their mobile phone and no usage of mobile phone AT ALL within the school premises
2. Strongly advised not to bring mobile phones to school.
3. Consequence: Mobile phones to be retained by teacher and return only to parent/guardian.

Strategies for English Language Learning and Reading
• It is an English Language curriculum for all primary schools in Singapore.
• It hopes to develop children who love reading and have a strong foundation in the English Language.
