SSR’s modular design allows integration with other innovate vendors in the design of a new surveillance system or cost effective upgrades to existing systems.

The scalable architecture allows solutions to range from a single stand-alone system to a multi-site distributed system. SSR has deployed many large distributed systems combing remote radars, radar processors, composite trackers, cameras, AIS, and other devices – all operating over a standard network.

SSR solutions can use commercial radars such as: Raytheon, Sperry, Terma, Kelvin Hughes and Furuno, to name a few. In addition to commercial radars, SSR has solutions for most shipboard radars and IFF systems.

RAdAR PROCESSOR (PCRP) The PCRP directly interfaces and controls the radar subsystem. The PC-RP utilizes sophisticated algorithms to enhance the detection performance of the radar.

COMPOSITE TRACKERRadar information is combined with AIS, IFF sonar and any other sensor data to create high quality accurate correlated tracks.

CAMERA MANgEREnables manual or automatic camera slewing to identify or verify identity of tracks in the system.

dISPLAy PROCESSOR (RdOP)The RDOP is the primary display presentation and control layer within the SSR system, all sensors and track data is overlaid on an electronic chart or GeoTIFF and provided to the operator on a common operational picture.

VESSEL dATAbASE The operators can effectively facilitate vessel management and security, by accessing a variety of data stored on the vessel database. Information is manually and automatically captured in the database.

LAN API RECORdER (LAR)All data on the network from raw radar images to operator commands is stored on the LAN API Recorder. This information can be used for post event analysis, training, or law enforcement purposes.
