    they should relate to white Americans andhow the black situation could be improved.

    An early example of divisions amongleading black spokespersons can be seen

    withIda B Wells, Booker T Washington & WEB

    Over the next two lessons youhave to..

    1. Produce a mini lesson on your spokesperson which you willteach to the rest of the group (This must include a starter &a main activity for the group) Max 15 mins

    2. Produce a revision aid to be given out to each member of thegroup

    3. Work together as a whole group to answer the two questionsmentioned earlier:

    a) How much did Wells, Washington & Du Bois help their fellowblacks?

    b) Who was right Washington (accomodationism) or Wells &Du Bois (protest)?

    4. You must also produce a bibliography of the sources youused in your research
