[email protected] Report Guidelines The object of this specification is to ensure some uniformity of production of project reports for convenience of use and storage, and to ensure that they are of suitable quality for photocopying and for preservation as archive documents. 1. Description a. Covers The size of covers should be at least equal to the page size and not more than 15 mm greater. Covers should be printed on black cover and letter should be written in golden color at the time of final submission. b. Font The font size of normal text should be 12 point The font size should be 16 bold for headings and 14 bold for subheadings The font should be Times New Roman. The line spacing should be 1.5. The test Should be justified. c. Ink Ink shall be black enough to produce an image sufficiently dense to ensure good quality. It is recommended to use laser printing. Color printing is NOT recommended except to the extent that it may be necessary for the purposes of the report. d. Binding (Require only in final submission not in mid terms) The report shall be bound along its left side. The binding shall be strong enough to protect and secure the contents for a reasonable time and shall allow the report to open flat without damaging the report. You have to use book binding when you finally submit to university, college, external examiners and supervisors.(after final presentation and demonstration). In all other cases, you can submit tape binding. e. Page Layout The left margin should be 1.5” The right margin should be 1.25” Top and Bottom margins should be 1”. The header and footer should be 0.5” each. f. Numbering The numbering for main contents should be in 1,2,3 format and should be displayed on top right corner. The numbering for other preliminary contents like abstract, acknowledgment, table of contents, list of figures, list of abbreviations, etc should be in i, ii, iii, etc format and should be displayed on bottom center.

1. Description

a. Covers
