I completed my DM degree in Nephrology from AIIMS, New Delhi in 2017. Once I returned, I started the Nephrology division in my instute, the first of its kind for a government medical college in Madhya Pradesh. Teaching medicine and nephrology is my passion and my medicine students aer graduaon are pursuing nephrology fellowship in many colleges across India. I am currently working on establishing a Renal Transplant Unit in my hospital. With connuous efforts, our instute was registered for renal Transplant in November 2019, making it the 1st ever Government instute in Madhya Pradesh. Though COVID has delayed the planned schedule, we will soon start our Transplant programme which would benefit ESRD paents in Madhya Pradesh. I am the Programme coordinator for SOTTO, Madhya Pradesh and acvely involved in formulang state rules for Cadaveric Transplant in liaison with the state government. I have been invited as faculty in State and Naonal level conferences (ISN West zone, ISOT). Key interest in Transplant: Make renal transplantaon accessible for common and underprivileged paents in my state; promote transplant training for all nephrology graduates.
