in the li+e room then the !uitars were recorded +ia the 2SA Gne and-nally the +ocalists recorded separately in the +ocal booth. G+erall thistrac1 consisted o) Hrums !uitars =ass and Vocals. (his was thehardest to mi0 as there were a +ariety o) per)ormance and sound issues.Hue to the absence o) a pop shield there were a lot o) plosi+e sounds on

the +ocal trac1. 2 remedied this by addin, low cut to the ' whichremo+ed the intensity o) those audio spi1es. Also the %ead Vocal andbac1in, +ocals werent uite wor1in, in harmony e+en when melodyned7both the pitch shi)t and modulation set to M&8 so 2 cut them so that theysan, a section each rather than to,ether only sin,in, to,ether durin,prechorus and the end o) the chorus. (he Hrums were out o) time inplaces so had to be cut up and mo+ed into time as did the !uitars 2accomplished this +ia cross)adin,. (he !uitars were ,i+en a bri,hter tone+ia amp inputs. (here was a drum -ll mid son, that was played badly so ithad to be cut and replaced with a re,ular section o) drummin,. (his

session wasn4t +ideoed the same as the rest o) the pro*ect instead themedia team used actors in order to create a music +ideo )or the trac1. 2thou,ht that this would loo1 ,ood and would ma1e an interestin, chan,e)or the 3ou(ube channel whilst still bein, rele+ant to Sondheim Suite asthe audio was still recorded there.

(he Floor (om was a problem as ithad a bad resonance which 2 remo+ed by attenuatin, the ?@I )reuency+ia the '. As well as this the sound o) the other drums werere+erberatin, inside the Floor (om and creatin, a low pitched bac1,roundhum. 2 remedied this by addin, a ,ate to the (om so that it shuts a)ter theinitial stri1e and rin,in, out has occurred.

G+er+iew

2 thin1 that Sondheim Suite could +ery easily compete in the mar1et it is

aimed at enterin,. !i+en time to ,row 2 )eel that it could ta1e ad+anta,eo) the many musicians out there who may not ha+e the popularity toappear on channels such as %i+e %oun,e and 9XP but de-nitely ha+e thetalent and the moti+ation. 2 belie+e that we ha+e some +ery creati+emusicians showcased on the channel and that this is one o) the stren,thso) the pro*ect. (he lo,o is simplistic but stri1in, with the red colourin, andwhite bac1,round it also ,oes +ery well with 3ou(ubes colour scheme.

Ad+ertisin, is an ob+ious method o) monetisin, this pro*ect as it is a3ou(ube channel once a channel reaches a certain popularity it isapproached by ad+ertisers and can e+entually e+en be paid to upload by

3ou(ube. Also e+ents and ,i,s could be held or ad+ertised )or the artistson the channel with the channel ta1in, a certain amount o) re+enue.

2) 2 were to redo this pro*ect 2 would ha+e made certain that 2 could ,et amedia team the musicians and the studio time to coincide as e+enthou,h the mimin, o) the son,s wor1ed it is still out o) time in places andis especially noticeable to me as the creator o) the pro*ect.
