THE EASY NO-FUSS GUIDE TO
SETTING UP YOUR ARTWORK FOR PRINT
ARTWORK SPECIFICATIONS
Use CMYK (Print) colour mode, not RGB Change ALL text to outlines Save ALL files with 3mm of bleed on each side Colour and images must be extended to the edge of the bleed for colour to the edge prints. Ensure all content is at least 3mm away from the edge of the finish size- otherwise it may be trimmed off All black text should be C:0 M:0 Y:0 K:100 All solid black & grey areas (Not text) need a 4 colour value (eg. For black use Rich Black- C;60 M:50 Y: 50 K: 100.) This produces darker, richer black colours No crop marks or colour bars needed
FOR BEST RESULTS
• Submit files in PDF format• Flatten ALL layers• Make sure your images are at least 150dpi for clear prints. We recommend 300dpi at 100% scale for the best results• Avoid adding borders around the edge of your print, as they may look uneven due to slight trim variations.
