This standing order directs that repackaging, treatment, and remediation of legacy transuranic (TRU) waste at EWMO-supported facilities be paused.

8. Actions and Duration:

8.1 Requirement

PAUSE all repackaging, treatment, and.remediation of legacy TRU waste.

The Pause SHALL not be lifted without approval from the Environmental and Waste Management Operations (EWMO) Facility Operations Director with concurrence from the Associate Director for Nuclear and High Hazard Operations (AD-NHHO).

8.2 Duration This standing order will remain in effect until cancelled or superseded.
