Bard on the Beach Field Trip

Students: here is a magnificent opportunity to see a Shakespearean play the way it was meant to be seen--by live performance. The English department and the PAC have grouped together to provide an opportunity for students to see the play, Comedy of Errors, at the Bard on the Beach Festival in Vancouver this coming June. If you would like to join this field trip, you must see Ms. Worthen. There is a limited number of tickets, so you must act quickly and get in the permission slips asap.

The KSS Grads are offering coffee at the top of the ramp from 8-8:30 am on Monday, Wednesday, and Fridays.

Host an International Student in Qualicum Beach!

The Qualicum International Student Program is currently looking for families in Qualicum Beach to host international high school students.

If your family can provide:- A warm and welcoming home environment- Three meals per day- A private bedroom with  a Bed, Desk, Lamp, Closet and a Window- A  criminal record check from the RCMP for all residents 19 and over

Then hosting a student will offer you:- The opportunity to make new friends from around the world.- An exciting cultural experience to share with your family!- The chance to enrich the life of an international student!!

There is  financially compensation to cover the costs of hosting an international student.   If you are interested in hosting an international student, contact Sandie or Jenny at the ISP Office at 250.951.0857, or email us at [email protected]

September 3rd Rock the VIU: New Student Orientation. A fun day of activities where

students get connected with each other, faculty, and service & support services on campus. International students are also required to register and attend International Student Welcome on Friday, September 4th from 9am - 1pm. Registration can be completed at the same time as registration for Rock the VIU. Students can register at viu.ca/orientation

As our way of saying “Congratulations!” and “Well done!” St. Stephen’s is once again hosting the annual (morning af ter prom) Grad Pancake Breakfast. Come as you are!
