Devaki Amma Memorial Teacher Education College is established in the year 2001 by Devaki Amma Memorial Trust, 5/493 B1, Maaanu, Sasthri Nagar, Eranhipalam, Kozhikode -06. The College functions in its own land and buildings in a pollution free village 3 Kms from Calicut University Campus and 5 Kms from Ramanattukara Town. Our model school is just 50 mtrs from the college; NNMHSS Chelembra. In the year 2005 sanction was accorded by the Govt. and NCTE to start TTC (D. Ed) and in the year 2006 M. Ed, with an intake of 35 students was sanctioned.

Significant Achievements and Contribution in the field of Education, such as Awards / Recognition, Eminent Alumni etc. Significant Achievements, if any: Almost all the years the academic record of the college is above 98 percent in all the courses, B.Ed, M.Ed and D. Ed. Most of the students have got placement in various parts of the state and abroad.
Contributions in the field of Education
We conducted National Seminars on various aspects of Education and Research involving National Level Faculty members as Resource Persons Like Prof. Sansonwal, Prof. Ekbote, Prof. Lalithamma, Dr. Nagamma, Prof. Sudheer Kumar, Prof. Rama, etc in the preceding years. Workshops were conducted for teacher Educators of affiliated colleges based on the revised curriculum. Awards and Recognition Received
The Principal of the college was awarded by the University of Calicut the title & certificate of Best Teacher Education College Principal in the year 2014. ‘Sadguru Award’ of the University, won by Mrs. Geethanjali (Asst. Professor, Social Science) ‘Sadguna Award’ of the University, won by Ms. Archana Narayanan (student in English optional) for social commitment 2014. Eminent Alumni
