For more than 60 years, IMI-Pneumatex has been a true pioneer in the pressurisation market.
Founded in 1909 in Basel, Switzerland, we have a proven record of innovation and developing products that remain market-leading technologies to this day. This includes the first closed expansion system equipped with a Butyl Bag, which was developed in 1955.
We have never swayed from our belief
that ‘prevention is better than cure’. This is why we continue to seek new and ground-breaking technologies that will keep the HVAC system clean and free from gas, dirt and sludge, ensuring stability, long life and effective pressure control. However, innovation for innovation’s sake is not what we’re about. We work closely with

Squeeze
• Description: Pressure expansion vessel with
fi xed gas cushion. Equipped with an SBR
membrane.
• Applications: For heating, cooling and solar
energy applications from 140L to 800L.
Pressure class 6 bar.
• Features: Contains an SBR membrane
following the EN 13831 requirements.
• Benefi ts: The comprehensive range ensures
its compatibility with any system requirements.
Its attractive price is in-line with comparable
products. Customers have access to a quality,
reliable and affordable solution.
Statico
• Description: Pressure expansion vessel with
fi xed gas cushion. Equipped with an air-proof
Butyl Bag according to EN 13831.
• Applications: For heating, cooling and solar
energy applications from 8L to 5000L. Pressure
class 3, 6, 10 bar.
• Features: Butyl is the rubber with the lowest gas
diffusion rate, providing fi ve to ten times higher
gas resistance than other conventional materials,
helping to reduce corrosion and maintenance
costs incurred by constant venting.
• Benefi ts: Brilliantly simple design, robust
construction and steel welding ensures optimal
reliability and safety. The premium quality airproof
Butyl Bag enables stable pre-set pressure
over the years, helping to reduce service costs
and helping to expand the product lifespan
considerably longer than the fi ve-year warrant.
Compresso C10 F Connect
• Description: Pressure maintenance system
with built-in compressor to regulate the
system pressure with the help of air – an IMI-
Pneumatex innovation.
• Applications: For heating systems up to 4MW
and cooling systems up to 6MW. Working
pressure up to 5,5 bar.
• Features: Air-proof Butyl Bag and ingenious
‘BrainCube’ control panel, communicating
directly with the BMS system to open up a world
of connectivity and control.
• Benefi ts: Improved design for easier,
comfortable operation. This effective
combinations is the most compact compresso
solution for vessels up to 800 ltrs. ‘BrainCube’
connectivity allows accurate and easy remote
operation of the pressurisation system through

Compresso C10/C15 Connect
• Description: Pressure maintenance system
with compressors. Two built-in compressors for
higher performance and larger applications.
• Applications: Systems up to 12MW and
cooling systems up to 18MW. Working pressure
up to 9 bar.
• Features: Web-based interface with remote
control and live view via the ‘BrainCube’ Connect
control panel integrated into TecBox.
• Benefi ts: Similar benefi ts to Compresso
Connect C10.F in terms of space saving and
connectivity thanks to communication with the
BMS system, but the second built-in compressor
makes it suitable for applications with higher
pressure and capacity.
Transfero TV Connect
• Description: The only pressure maintenance
system with pumps and integrated cyclonic
vacuum degassing. Particularly recommended
where high performance, compact design and
precision are required.
• Applications: For heating systems up to 8MW
and cooling systems up to 13MW. Working
pressure up to 10 bar.
• Features: Integrated cyclonic vacuum
degassing and automatic calibration and
standardised integrated connections to our IMI-
Webserver and BMS.
• Benefi ts: Transfero Connect offers three
essential benefi ts in one unit: space savings
thanks to the integrated pump, high performance
and effi ciency due to cyclonic technology and
ease-of-use from ‘BrainCube’ connectivity.
Transfero TVI Connect
• Description: An extension of the Transfero TV
Connect range with integrated cyclonic vacuum
degassing. Contains up to two pumps for PN25
high-pressure applications.
• Applications: For heating systems up to
8MW and cooling systems up to 13MW.
Specially designed for high pressure needs
such as district energy or higher buildings
and skyscrapers in excess of 100m. Working
pressure up to 20 bar.
• Features: Automatic calibration and
standardised integrated connections to our IMI-
Webserver and BMS.
• Benefi ts: High-pressure solution in an extreme
compact design with all benefi ts of the Transfero
TV Connect.
Transfero TI
• Description: Precision pressure maintenance
system for heavy-duty applications.
• Applications: For heating, solar and chilled
water systems up to 40MW with pumps.
High performance machine for heavy-duty
applications such as industrial, district energy
networks and hot water systems >110°C
following EN12952/12953.
• Features: ‘BrainCube’ control. Two spill
connections each with two in-series connected
spill valves. PowerCube panel PC1 – mains

The Butyl Bag Vessel: A quality and durable solution
Our air-proof bag vessels are the hallmark of IMI-Pneumatex and our most robust and efficient solution.
Our heritage vessels are equipped with a bag that contains the expansion water, so it never touches the walls of the vessels. The bag, made from high-quality, vulcanised Butyl, is the rubber with the lowest gas diffusion rate, providing five to ten times higher gas resistance than other conventional membrane materials.
Together, this winning combination helps to avoid corrosion to sustain the water quality of the system and ensure
its pre-set pressure remains stable over the years, resulting in reliable functionality with virtually no need for maintenance.
IMI-Pneumatex guarantees the traditional air-proof standard of our Butyl Bags by means of in-house manufacturing and independent quality control procedures. It comfortably exceeds the requirements of EN 13831. A five-year warranty underlines its impeccable standards.
We are actually the inventors of closed expansion systems with fixed gas cushions and launched the revolutionary Butyl Bag in expansion vessels back in 1955. The product has evolved since, but each vessel is still being constructed according to the fundamentals of the Statico principle to guarantee quality, reliability and durability.

The Membrane Vessel: An affordable and trusted solution
The membrane vessel comes as a cost-effective alternativeto the Butyl Bag vessel and is a great addition to the IMI-Pneumatex portfolio.
This vessel holds the expansion water and it is the membrane which separates it from the area that contains air. The total surface that is exposed to the area with air is limited to the membrane, hindering the amount of air that can enter.
Another factor that will impact the amount of air that can enter into the system is the diffusion tightness of the membrane’s material. Squeeze’s
membrane is made from SBR, which does not reach the diffusion tightness of Butyl, but it is higher than EPDM – another popular material used in other expansion vessels in the market.
Membrane vessels are a standard technology on the market with comparable functionality and price points. What can differentiate them in terms of performance and durability is
the material of the membrane e.g SBR or EPDM, as well as the quality of their production and the materials used.
