Our endowment base continues to grow which allows us to give more financial grants back to the communities in the regions we serve – Chase to Lillooet, Merritt to Clearwater and, of course, Kamloops. The Foundation is so grateful to our generous donors who see the wisdom in investing in endowment funds where the principal is never touched. Many agencies and students benefit greatly from the Foundation. As time goes on it is hoped that they will all be able to receive larger grants to help them with their individual causes. Please review the information in this report and feel free to contact the Foundation for more information on grants or on making a donation to help our citizens for today and tomorrow. ~ Hugh Fallis, President President’s Message Hugh Fallis, President Ross Spina, Past President Matt Livingston, Vice President Lisa Tavender, Treasurer Cara Gates, Secretary Robert Miller, Executive Director Alice Shether, Admin Assistant Darlene Iadarola Sheryl Lindquist Kathy Humphries Greg Peace Rob Lemire Curtis Wilkinson Chris LeClair BCICF Board & Staff Financial Highlights $50k $100k $150k $200k $250k $300k $350k $400k 2017 2018 $368,134 $332,235 INTEREST DIVIDEND INCOME $50k $100k $150k $200k $250k $300k $350k $400k 2017 2018 $391,892 $342,506 TOTAL GRANTS $50k $100k $150k $200k $250k $300k $350k $400k 2017 2018 $116,991 $113,549 ADMIN COSTS Total Endowed Value 2017 ~ $7,880,102 | 2018 ~ $8,444,744 The Marg Spina Community Enhancement Fund A well-known community member, former Councillor, advocate for the Kamloops Food Bank, Kamloops Hospice and community well-being, Marg Spina was a powerful voice and influence!
