This course sets the stage for the first two parts of the PACE

model. The first, Performance Coaching, generates an

internal network of peer-based coaches that practice every

day by supporting one another. Couple this with the second

part, Alignment, which demonstrates the value, and teaches

the practices, of alignment to your organization’s strategy,

culture, and other nuances that your peer coaching network

understands better than any outside coach. Tools and Topics

include:

• Strategic and Tactical Tool Kit: Access and apply

practical, simplified, and effective tools for optimized

performance

• Alignment: Hone in on your organization’s foundations,

from its strategy to its culture, to target your coaching Tool

Kit’s effectiveness even further

• Practice and Behaviors: Cultivate these actions into

habits

Performance Coaching Multiplied: Cross-Cultural and Emotional

The network of internal peer coaches already creates a

multiplier effect on performance coaching. Now multiply that

multiplier with cross-cultural and emotionally intelligent (EQ)

dimensions. This course views culture with a broad lens that

includes such areas as organizational cultures, ethnic and

national cultures, generational cultures, and gendered cultures.

This course integrates emotional intelligence (EQ) to better

understand the factors that extend beyond measurable logic,

yet fuel motivation and social relationships. Topics and Tools

include:

• Crossing Cultural Boundaries: Learn models to look at

different cultural elements to increase mutual understanding

• Emotional Effectiveness: Develop stronger EQ skills

to strengthen the bonds of your performance coaching

network

• Practicum: Lay the groundwork for your practicum, which

consists of practicing your coaching skills amongst your

teams regularly

2. Following completion of registration, registrants will immediately receive a receipt from [email protected].

3. Following completion of the program, participants will receive a transcript from the UCI Paul Merage School of Business Office of Executive Education

Q: Will I earn continuing education units upon completion of the course?

A: Each course qualifies for 1.1 CEUs.

Q: Can I use my company’s tuition reimbursement program for this class?

A: This program may qualify for your company’s tuition reimbursement program. Please refer to your company’s guidelines and ensure that you receive approval before attending the class.

Q: I can’t make it to all of the sessions. Can I still participate in the program and earn my certificate?

A: You can take as many of the sessions as you can at this time and complete the rest through makeup sessions or at subsequent offerings. While we do suggest taking all the sessions in the same season, we do keep track of what you have taken, and will award your program certificate once you have completed all of the required sessions.
