This year, 21 students from nine states and Union Territories were awarded for their 18 distinct innovations. Overall, more than 60,000 submissions were received from 544 districts of the country during the IGNITE 2019 competition, held from September 1, 2018, to August 31, 2019. This competition is organised every year by the National Innovation Foundation (NIF), India.
