Student Reflections

We are not given a list of vocabulary to learn and then tested on it, but rather we are thrown into context and expected to figure out what is going on. It was a fun experience to learn this way, and I hope that the rest of the course is similar.

That was so hard. I have so much to learn about this language before I do anything with it. I was floundering so bad. I hope next week's assignment, is something I can achieve with confidence. Cross your fingers!

Wow. That was some intense Homework. I thought it was very good and quite helpful but it is very obvious that I have a long way to go with my Chinese. I'm very glad that the audio files on the homework can be played more than once. I think it is very challenging but doable and fun. Context was very helpful to figuring things out.
