“One thing have I asked of the Lord, that will I seek after;
that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life,
to behold the beauty of the Lord, and to inquire in His temple.”
Psalm 27:4
WELCOME: If you are visiting here today, we welcome you
to our worship and fellowship. To God be the glory! And may
we be richly blessed. Please join us after the morning service
for a time of refreshments in the Fellowship Hall.
Children aged 3-5 meet your teacher in the foyer during the
offering this morning for Children’s Church.
Please pause for a moment after the morning service to allow
the children to exit for PreK-6th grade Sunday School.
ABOUT OUR MESSAGES
This morning, we finish the fourth answer to the question of
how you are “SAVED,” that the Spirit converts us to faith in
Jesus. If the Father has chosen people to save and given them
to Christ for redemption, and the Spirit must work in
someone’s life to bring conversion, then does it matter
what we do? Romans 10:1-17 reveals that the Spirit’s method
is “The Means of the Gospel,” a message delivered by ordi-
nary people.
This evening, Isaiah 52:1-10 will focus again on God’s method
of the gospel, which is “A Sight for Sore Eyes”.
TODAY at 2:30 PM, Nursing Home Music Ministry (Care
Center Devotions) will be provided by Group #4. If you are
in this group, you would have received instructions in your
church mailbox.
PRAYERS AND PRAISES
Please be in prayer for Ashley Hansum and Clayton
Vanden Hoek, who plan to be married in our church this
coming Saturday. Praise our God for the joy He’s given
this couple and ask Him to help them fulfill their vows to
one another!
We continue to pray for God to bring warm and dry weather
to our area, and for any families dealing with damage from our
recent severe weather.
A handful of our members are leading the Brothers-in-Blue ministry in the South Dakota State Prison this weekend. Please be in prayer for their faithful testimony to Christ and for His Spirit to open up more hearts to embrace their testimony and follow Him in repentance and faith.
