In Company Training

More thanm 1.000 companies in Tuscany were trained by Pixel.Most of the participating companies belongs to the tourism and craft sectors.Courses focus on IT, business management and language learningBoth financed by the ESF and the companies.

Pixel has trained teachers of around 500 schools and Universities from all over Europe.60% of the teachers trained are from secondary schools, 40% are university professors.Courses focus on: IT for education, language learning, European cooperation.

Study visit on the theme of tourism

On July 2006 a group of public officers from Kilkis region in Greece visited Pixel.

The reason of the visit was an exchange of information and good practice for tourism promotion.

A delegation of representatives of  tourism promotion centres and tourism education and training centres from Brandenbourg in Germany visited Pixel in the 2004

Teachers and trainers from Florida University in Valencia (Spain) visited Pixel on May 2004. Pixel and Florida University presented each other their training methods and experiences in the field of training for tourism operators.

Pixel organized a training course funded by the Grundtvig programme on tourist management.

CIAItalian Confederation of Farmers

CIA originated in the 1970s and has 3000 associated members. Of these, about 500 operate in the agritourism sector.

Cia represents the requests of the agricultural world towards the public agencies. With its brancheas CIA supplies technical services and information on the opportunities of development to the agricultural entrepreneurs.

From forty years CIA operates in the agricultural world and approximately from fifteen years CIA supplies and realizes programs of technical attendance in the within of the new regional system of the services of agricultural and rural development.

• Provide assistance for the carrying out of parallel “multifunctional” activities (rural tourism, hospitality etc.) by agricultural operators.

At the end of the project CIA hopes to further their knowledge of the training needs of agricultural operators and to increase the professional skills of its staff
