Our kids were empowered to prevent bullying by becoming "everyday heroes." That's My Pan!!The holidays are coming!!!

Let us help you do some shopping!

The PTA is holding a “That’s my Pan!” sale.  This is an excellent chance to order a great personalized gift for family, friends and even teachers.  There are mugs, pans, grill sets and more, and every purchase gives back to our school.You can order online, and your purchases will be delivered to school before winter break.  The deadline for orders delivered

before winter break is November 30th.

Spend Black Friday in your pajamas with hot chocolate ordering gifts!To order online, please go to http://www.thatsmypan.biz/frmn10267 If you need a paper catalog, please let your student’s teacher know and we will send one home. 

Need help with holiday toys and gifts for your children?  Ralph Reeder Food Shelf’s Operation Joy program can help. Two ways you can register your children:

1 During any daytime food shelf appointment (November 2 thru December 10) by calling 651-621-7451 to set up your appointment.

2 Wednesdays, November 25, December 2 and 9, from 12:30-2pm walk-in registration for toys - no need to make an appointment.

 Please bring: picture id for yourself, current piece of mail (proof of residence), some form of identification on your child(ren) (birth certificate, social security card, or medical ID card). For more information, or if you have questions, please call the food shelf at 651-621-7151.

When you come to the parade on Friday, October 30th, please bring 1-2 non-perishable food items as a donation. Place your items in the containers by the front door.

Help us reach our goal of 500 items.

Looking for gently used donations and inviting families in need to come to the free Pass-It-Along event.          The Early Childhood Programs Parent Advisory Committee announces its annual Pass-It-Along event.  The event is free and features gently used infant and toddler clothing, children’s clothing up to size 14 and maternity wear, baby equipment, toys and books.  Pass-It-Along is for families in need in the community and takes place at Pike Lake Education Center on Tuesday, Nov 24 from 9 am to noon.  Donations for Pass-It-Along will be accepted until Nov 23 at Pike Lake Center.  Call the Mounds View Public Schools Early Childhood Programs office at 651-621-7420 for more information.

Parking for the Fall Parade

All you need to know about the PINEWOOD FALL PARADE

4. Receive and WEAR a "SIGNED OUT IN CLASSROOM' sticker for both you and your child 5. Please be prepared to show ID if asked

*** If you would like your child to leave early with you after the parade, you MUST fill out the release form that was sent home with your student. It was on gold paper ****

If you do not fill out this form, but decide to take your child home early, you can check out in the office after the parade, starting at 3:30pm.

If you intend to pick your child up early: 1. Sign in the table BEFORE the parade starts 2. You will receive a wristband when you check in that you must wear to enter the building 3. Go to your child's classroom and sign them out

1. Make sure your costume is easy to WALK in2. Choose fun and festive costumes that are appropriate for a school setting 3. Keep ALL masks at home for security reasons 4. Face paint is a fun alternative 5. Pinewood Spirit shirts or fall colors are a great alternative to those not wanting to wear costumes 6. Costumes should be put on at school, not worn to school

All Visitors Entering The Building:

• Must sign in at the table near the entrance

• Must receive a wrist band to wear visibly

• Must enter at the main entrance

KINDERGARTEN

Our Pike Lake Kindergarteners will be bussing to Pinewood for the parade.

If you have a kindergarten student and an older sibling that you will be taking home with

you,

be sure to sign in before the parade and get your wristband. After the parade, first go to

the North lot where the K buses will be to sign out your kindergarten student, then enter

Pinewood to pick up the older sibling.

Parking North of County Road I or West on Quincy on Bronson Lane or Lambert Avenue is the best place to park.

Quincy will be closed for parking

The South lot will be closed at 2:30.

Please do not park in the bus zone lot or the North Lot
