COLDS AND COMMON SENSE As we continue through the winter months and flu season, please, remember to refrain from receiving the Precious Blood from the chalice, and even exchanging the sign of peace if you are not feeling well. Your neighbor will understand and thank you.

Memorial of Saint Blaise - Blessing of Throats
Saint Blaise was the Bishop of Sebaste in Armenia during the early fourth century. Very little is known about St. Blaise’s life. However, according to various accounts, he was thought to have been a physician before he became bishop. St. Blaise has a reputation for interceding for those afflicted with illnesses of the throat after he miraculously cured a little boy from nearly dying because of a fishbone stuck in his throat. In memory of St. Blaise, Patron of Throat Illnesses,
There will be a blessing of throats after the 8:30 AM Mass tomorrow,
Monday, February 3rd.
