    The Opportunity

We are seeking one (or two) enthusiastic students to undertake research in spatial

databases, mobile and pervasive computing, computational geometry and/or uncertain

databases. The successful candidate(s) will most likely work on problems related to location-

based services (LBS). LBS are becoming increasingly popular due to exponentially

increased usage of smartphones and cheap wireless network. The project aims to provide

effective and efficient techniques to solve the most representative location-based queries.
