The present publication of District Level Statistics of MeghaJaya 2002 is the 2nd in the series. It presents .

comparative statistics on some important Socio Economic aspec(s and development of the seven Districts of the

State.

The statistics contained in this publication were compiled by the Officers and a team of staff of the

Publication andReference Section of the Directorate of Economics and Statistics under the guidance ofShri J.B.Momin,

Joint Director and Smti. A.M.Laloo, Research Officer.
