Word of the week- “Caught” We catch a lot of things in life; the latest movie, the colds going around, the ball or Frisbee being thrown to us, a wave or even a fish. We catch what en-compasses us. It’s what we’re into and find joyful. To catch up with Jesus would mean to know who he is. We’re journeying with him and we are caught with him in total and complete surrender. To be caught up with Jesus is a life goal for each of us. Might we ask ourselves, “Am I caught up in Jesus or am I catching up with Jesus?”

If you have a favorite song or hymn that you would like to sing during worship, please place a note in the Song Selection Box on the narthex table. Music & Worship will try to include it in a future worship service.

An Invitation to do Some Summer Reading

Did you make a New Year's resolution?

If yes, How are you doing? Maybe instead of a resolution,

it would have been good to choose just one word to focus on this year.

In June, we will be six months into 2019. June is a good time to do some summer reading.

I read My One Word in 2017

and it encouraged me to choose my one word for that year. This is an invitation from Linda Ziegler to read

My One Word - Change Your Life With Just One Word by Mike Ashcraft and Rachel Olsen.

Ashcraft says, "Choose just one word that represents

what you most hope God will do in you, and focus on it for an entire year.

This single act will force clarity and concentrate your efforts. Growth and change will result."

We will plan to meet four times as we read the book. Times to be deter-mined by the participants.

WOMEN’S FELLOWSHIP NEWS Londonderry Village is having a Talent Show Tonight, at 7:00 p.m. in the Di Matteo Worship Center. Community and friends are invited to attend. The LV Estate and Yard Sale is scheduled for May 30, 31 & June 1, 2019. Our annual Tractor, Truck, Motorcycle and Car Show is coming up. It starts at 8:00 a.m. and goes until 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 15. We will greatly appreciate your donation of baked goods to be sold at the bake table and the food stand. We will need help at the food stand and there will be a sign-up sheet on the table in the Narthex. Please see Sally if you have flea market items to donate or if you wish to rent one or more tables at $5.00 each. We sure hope to see you there!!!! Quilting continues every Thursday morning. Anyone interested in helping to quilt or learning to quilt is welcome to come.
