Graduation Requirements

English 4 units Math 4 units (minimum Alg I, Geom, Alg II, Math>Alg II)

Unless 4 credits (including Alg I and either Geometry or Alg II with Math Substitution plan)

Science 3 units– Earth/Environmental, Biology, Physical Science

Humanities 3 units– World History, Civics and Economics, US History

Health/ PE 1 unit Electives 6 units At least 26 total credits

AND Community Service 25 hours per year at Broughton** Graduation Requirements are different than University Minimum Admission Requirements (MAR)

Starting in the Fall of 2013, students admitted to the UNC system will show a minimum of 2.5 high school GPA and at least 800 on the SAT or 17 on the ACT.

Private colleges may have different admission requirements. Students should consult college websites for additional information.

Official Transcript – Fall 2014

Updated Official GPA/Rank for seniors will be available as of Sept. 22nd.

Directions for sending Transcripts:

In state– Transcript will be sent by the student through CFNC.org account. – Check your profile to make sure your name is spelled correctly,

the same way it appears on your report card/transcript and that your student ID number is entered in. If you do not remember your log in or do not have one, see your counselor. Do NOT create a new account. These transcripts are free of charge.

Official Transcripts

Out of state – Go to https://wcpss.scriborder.com/. Click on Request Transcripts

and Student Records, click on All Other Requests and follow prompts. First three requests are free. After the third request, transcripts will cost $5. Payment through website.

Common App– Student must invite their counselor to be a recommender and they

will send your transcript. These transcripts are free of charge.

Scholarship & NCAA Transcripts– Students need to fill out the GREEN Request for Transcript

Authorization Form (available in Student Services or the Broughton website under “Forms”). Our registrar, Ms. Wall will mail your official transcript. These transcripts are free of charge.
