Bullying is something the school takes very seriously and the anti-bullying policy and processes
adopted by the school are reviewed regularly by the Governing body.
Communication between the school and the parents was considered good by most, although some
felt the school could communicate more about how their child is progressing and how they can
support their childs progress. One suggested some support for parents in the new methods used to
teach maths. This is something which, if proved of interest to other parents, could be developed.
Healthy lifestyle was another area which needs to be looked at only 45.4% of parents strongly
agreed with the statement. The school will be focussing on healthy eating and will be working withparents to see how we can both encourage the children to be more health aware.
Once again the Governing Body would like to thank you for spending the time to answer the
questionnaire. We do take your feedback seriously.

Comment Action
I would like to be kept informed about my son's progress
A few times I have sent photos in that I have taken of events -
Prom/ young voices but have had no communication that theyhave been received/viewed or how they have been used whuich
would have been nice
an overview of what children will be learning each half term in
order to better support with books, other materials etc
There has been a dramatic improvement at Balby Central over
the last 2 years - well done!
thinks the school could do more trips, thinks that attendance is
important yet commented that the school had refused a holiday
asked for more 1:1 for Charlotte yet disagreed that attendance
is important to child's progress
On 1 occasion my child was allowed to go home with someone I
had not authorised. Joseph is a happy boy but does not like
going to school
Very pleased regards emily's learning and school environment
concerns over bullying in the school - doesn't feel school has
addressed the issues for their child
difficult for me to communicate due to my job commitment
(hours)
would have liked the option of neither agree or disagreeAgreed that child safe at school but commented apart from
breaking her arm
Shannon loves school
More outside playspace
Suggestions for improvement - I really don't have any at this
time. I think this school is outstanding!! And my child isprogressing and growing and learning so much, from all the
encouragement, fantastic support and staff. I am very grateful
