Yearly quality surveys for airlines and passengers are carried out in order to monitor their perception of the airport services.

The airport is focused on having the best image possible. Palma de Mallorca airport has implemented an Integrated Quality and Environmental Management System, certified according to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards.

• Palma de Mallorca airport was awarded by the Balearic Bussiness Federation of Transports for the good institutional relations and the excellent air traffic data registered in 2015.

• Palma de Mallorca is listed within the top ten Southern Europe Airports in the Skytrax 2013 passengers surveys.

• In 2011, the Palma de Mallorca Airport was distinguished with the Airport Service Quality Awards by Skytrax in the category of Best Improvement by ACI.

• Winner of the ACI Europe Best Airport 2009 Award at the “10-25 million passenger” category for its strong relationships with its airline costumers & its successful adoption of a hub strategy.

• Additionally, in 2013 Palma de Majorca Airport was certified by the Spanish Aviation Safety Agency (AESA), meeting the international standards recommended by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO). The certification, valid until March 31st, 2016 entails both safety improvements and meeting international technical standards.
