Welcome our New Parochial Vicar
Fr. Joseph Privitali will be joining us from an
assignment at St Gabriel in San Francisco. A native
San Franciscan, he studied at Gonzaga University and the
Pontifical North American College in Rome.

everyone’s
participation.

to the Council last year and who will serve in
the upcoming year.
June Meeting Notes
Twenty members attended as we
nominated our new slate of officers for
next year (see below). Phil Bergin, our
departing District Deputy reported it
would be his last meeting with us. He
was a fixture at our meetings and gave
great insight. Pumpkin Festival was
mentioned, early planning is beginning,
more later. Our September meeting
will be moved to Thursday at 530 on
the 26th so we might enjoy watching
the Forty Niner game as a group over
dinner. Thanks to Bob Pinto, Jose
Acosta and Martin Oseguera (pictured)
for a great dinner of meat, rice and
beans. See you next month everyone!
From the Pumpkin Festival to the
marriage enrichment to the donations
made to the parish and others we’ve
had a busy and effective year. And,
undoubtedly this year will be the same.
However, there is one area where we
need to be much more effective—
recruiting. If we don’t replenish
ourselves we will gradually drift away
as have so many other Councils.
Supreme has asked that we recruit one
new member per month. For our own
good, let’s exceed that goal this year.
