INFANT BAPTISMS For children under 7 years of age, the sacrament is celebrated the FIRST Sunday of the month at 2:00 pm. The parents must register in the parish office at least 4 weeks prior to the baptism. Both parents and godparents are expected to attend one catechetical session in advance, on the Wednesday before the baptism, at 7:00 pm.

SACRAMENTS OF CHRISTIAN INITIATION Before being fully initiated into the sacramental life of the Church, children over the age of 7 will need catechetical prepa-ration through the RCIC process. Teenagers and adults will par-ticipate in separate RCIA processes.

CONFIRMATION and COMMUNION For those already baptized, preparation for these Sacraments will take place according to the person’s age and knowledge of the Catholic Faith. For further information contact the Office of Faith Formation Program.

MARRIAGES Couples should contact the parish office at least six months in advance to make the proper ar rangements for the Sacrament of Matrimony.

ANOINTING OF THE SICK Please contact the parish office.

RECONCILIATION A priest is available for Confessions on Saturday afternoon from 3:30 pm to 4:30 pm. You can also make an individual appoint-ment.

EL BAUTISMO DE NIÑOS Solamente para los niños menores de los 7 años de edad, se celebra el sacramento el SEGUNDO y el CUARTO domingo del mes a las 2:00 pm. Es preciso que los padres se inscriban en la parroquia por lo menos 4 semanas antes del bautismo. Ambos padres y padrinos deberán asistir a una instrucción catequética, la noche del Miercoles anterior al bautizo a las 7:00 pm.

SACRAMENTOS DE LA INICIACIÓN CRISTIANA Con el propósito de participar plenamente en la vida sacramen-tal de la Iglesia, los niños mayores de los 7 años de edad, nece-sitarán prepararse en el proceso de Iniciación Cristiana Para Niños. Los jóvenes y los adultos se preparán separadamente en el proceso del RICA.

CONFIRMACIÓN Y COMUNIÓN Para los que ya están bautizados, la preparación para estos Sacramentos se llevará a cabo de acuerdo con la edad de la persona y su conocimiento de la Fe Católica. Para más infor-mación comunicarse con la Oficina de Formación de la Fe.

MATRIMONIOS La pareja deberá de comunicarse con el despacho pastoral y hacer su solicitud minimo seis meses antes de la fecha de la boda, para entrevistarse con el sacerdote e iniciar la prepara-ción matrimonial.

UNCIÓN DE LOS ENFERMOS Favor de comunicarse con el despacho pastoral. RECONCILIACIÓN El Sacramento se celebra semanalmente los sábados de 3:30 pm a 4:30 pm. También se puede fijar una cita para la Con-fesión otro día de la semana con un sacerdote.

October 12 and 13th Anniversary of Our Lady of Fatima

Vigil will start on Friday, October 12th at 7:00 PM Come and join us on Saturday, October 13th for the Celebration of the 6th Apparition of Our Lady of Fatima. Procession starts at 12 Noon and Bilingual Mass at 5 PM. Come and pray with us as we ask for the intercession of the Our Lady of the Rosary, our mother and Patron. After Mass there is a reception celebration for our 70th anniversary.

Únase a nosotros el sabado, 13 de octubre para la Celebración de la Sexta Aparición de Nuestra Señora de Fátima. Tendremos una procession empezando a las 12 mediodia y Misa Bilingue a las 5 PM Vengan a rezar con nosotros mientras pedimos la intercesión de la Virgen del Rosario, nuestra madre y Patrona. Despues de Misa habrá una recepción celebrando nuestro 70 aniversario en la comunidad.

HEALING MASS

There will be a Healing Mass at Our Lady of Fatima on Friday October 19th at 7:00 PM . There w ill be a laying of hands over all for healing. Habrá una Misa de Sanación en Iglesia de Nuestra Señora de Fatima el día Viernes, 19 de octubre a las 7:00 PM. Habrá una extensión de manos sobre todos para la curación.

FROM THE PASTOR’S DESK Dear Parishioners, Next Saturday we will celebrate the 101st Anniversary of the sixth and last Apparition of Our Lady at Fatima in 1917. It is a Feast Day for our parish and it is also the 70th Anniversary of the founding of our Parish in the year 1948! Congratulations to the faithful parishioners of Our Lady of Fatima! We have many blessings to be thankful for. It is truly a blessing to see each generation of the Church offer their gifts as an expression of their faith in God and support for one another. Next Saturday we will have a procession beginning at 12 pm and Bishop Neil Tiedemann will presi-de at the 5 pm Mass. The Mass will be bilingual and we will have a reception afterward in Donnelly Hall. We are 70 years young. We thank God for the graces he is continually bestowing upon us. To celebrate each Sunday and each day of the week together Jesus’ presence in the Eucharist is the greatest gift we could ask for. We then come together in celebrations, such as this, to share with each other our common bonds of faith and community life in the Lord. We the old, the young and the middle-aged can share our history, dreams, hopes, and a meal together. Our Lady of Fatima called three young children to herself to give them a message of conversion and prayer. Let us keep this message alive as we pray for the greater conversion of all in the world toward a greater more fervent love of the Lord.

Queridos Feligreses: El próximo sábado celebraremos el 101º aniversario de la sexta y última aparición de Nuestra Señora en Fátima en 1917. ¡Es un día festivo para nuestra parroquia y también es el 70 aniversa-rio de la fundación de nuestra parroquia en el año 1948! ¡Felicitaciones a los fieles feligreses de Nuestra Señora de Fátima! Tenemos muchas bendiciones que agradecer. Es verdaderamente una bendición ver a cada generación de la Iglesia ofrecer sus dones como una expresión de su fe en Dios y su apoyo mutuo. El próximo sábado tendremos una procesión a partir de las 12 pm y el Obispo Neil Tiedemann presidirá la Misa de las 5 pm. La Misa será bilingüe y luego tendremos una recepción en Donnel-ly Hall. Somos 70 años jóvenes. Damos gracias a Dios por las gracias que nos otorga continua-mente. Celebrar cada domingo y cada día de la semana juntos, la presencia de Jesús en la Eu-caristía es el mejor regalo que podemos pedir. Luego nos reunimos en celebraciones, como esta, para compartir unos con otros nuestros lazos comunes de fe y vida comunitaria en el Señor. No-sotros, los viejos, los jóvenes y los de mediana edad, podemos compartir nuestra historia, nues-tros sueños, nuestras esperanzas y una comida juntos. Nuestra Señora de Fátima llamó a tres niños pequeños para darles un mensaje de conversión y oración. Mantengamos este mensaje vivo mientras oramos por la mayor conversión de todos en el mundo hacia un amor más ferviente y más grande del Señor.
