The practice

Our practice was first established 1996 in The United Kingdom under the name Surveyors Ltd; being a Chartered Quantity Surveyor and Cost Consultant. The practice has continually developed and expanded its ac-tivities and staff resources over the last 18 years. In 2003 Abu Dhabi office was opened under the name RAS. Through partnership agreements, we currently have access to facilities offered by 12 offices employing circa 100 personnel employed on various projects in UAE, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Ara-bia, UK and Jordan.

Our achievements are reflected in the long-standing relationship with cli-ents, which demonstrates Client satisfaction, and in the number of suc-cessfully completed projects.

Construction work valuation for developments which have been unfinished, suspended, terminated or significantly altered from their original design can be difficult to value using traditional or existing contract arrangements.

RAS, through a combination of arbitration and investigation, have been able to value unfinished, suspended, terminated or altered works on a number of projects have formulated an approach which offers fair calculated valua-tions which aim to avoid claims and/or counter claims by the various par-ties.

MEP Quantity Surveying

Through our strategic partnership with Baker Mallet (a Chartered QS com-pany in the UK) RAS are able to offer a full MEP Quantity Surveying ser-vice. Our alliance with Baker Mallett also gives RAS direct access to an ad-ditional 70 professional staff based in the UK.
