To our valued customer; Our mission at Oberstütz Orgelbau is to bring the majestic visual
presence of pipes and casework to the already majestic aural presence
of your digital pipe organ. From simple flats of pipes with grille cloth
to gilded-cherub crowned towers, our goal is to help you create a
sculptural and architectural focal point to enhance the musical
authority of your instrument.
Presented in this Casework Brochure is a representation of our
casework capabilities along with general price ranges for 2015. Prices
are given in ranges as there are many variables: wood species, finishes,
ornamentation, speaker accommodations along with installation and
mounting considerations.
We encourage you to think in modular terms, that is, visualize your
project in units of pipe flats and towers. Our facades are built as
separate modules (flats/towers) to facilitate shipping and installation.
A very effective case can be created with 3 modules.
We also include, for your inspiration, images of great pipe organs
from around the world. This section is intended as a stylistic frame of
reference for exploring your architectural preferences.
We welcome your inquiries and look forward to working with you.
Let us create drawings (pdf) for you; we need only general ideas of
what your stylistic preferences are, some dimensions and your financial
parameters. If you can imagine it, we can build it.

Historical Casework
When envisioning a facade project for your venue, allow your imagination to
soar Shown above are some truly inspiring examples of exuberantly painted
doors, pipes and casework, all of which are distinct possibilities to be
translated into low-relief, modular facades. Pipes and casework can also be
aged and distressed to take on the wonderful character of 15th century organs.
We contract with muralist / faux painter Skip Dydra and other craft persons
whose talents exponentially expand your creative options.
