Stainless Steel and Painted Steel Cabinet Construc t ion Detai lOur cabinets are made from heavy gauge steel. They are fully welded and constructed for decades of performance. Base units have a load capacity of 500 lbs per linear foot. All cabinets are available in a full stainless steel construction. Our standard cabinet construction is of a Type #304 stainless steel with #4 finish. We can also build a Type #316 cabinet as well. Our environmentally friendly powder coat finish, for our line of painted steel cabinets, is available in seventeen designer colors. We bring quality, durability and beauty to your laboratory.

Ant imicrobial Treated CabinetsSouthwest Solutions Group recognizes that in a healthcare environment, all surfaces can become susceptible to microbial growth. Our cabinets are coated with an antimicrobially protected paint which is highly effective in reducing the number of microbes on the surfaces of cabinets. The coating contains a silver solution additive called Agion®, an antimicrobial proven to be effective at inhibiting the growth of bacteria, fungi, mold, and other microbes.

HOW IT WORKSThe surfaces are treated with a silver-ion (Ag) additive paint. When microbes come into contact with the treated surface, silver ions are released to the surface to destroy the microbes. These silver ions inhibit the growth and reproduction of microbes in three ways:

1. Suffocation - by attacking the cell wall

2. Starvation - by interrupting cell metabolism

3. Sterilization - by preventing cell reproduction

Antimicrobial technology does not replace the need for good hygienic practices. Antimicrobial protection is limited to the treated item only and does not protect a user against disease-causing bacteria. Always clean products thoroughly after each use.

PROVEN AND EFFEC TIVEInstead of using synthetic chemicals to inhibit these microbes, we use silver. This naturally occurring antimicrobial continuously resists the growth of microbes. Agion’s wide spread approval and registrations including EPA, FDA, NSF, USDA, Canada, European BPD (Biocidal Products Directive), Swiss, and EFSA (European Food Safety Agency) further testifies to its safety.

72” Wide Nurse Document & Communicat ion Center Nurse Document and Communication Centers provide a universal control hub for advanced video and communications integration and other technologies both within and outside the operating room, optional teleconferencing, surgical and room lighting control and more. Phone, computer, video and electrical junction boxes are provided at convenient access points throughout the cabinet.

A pull out, stow away shelf is built within the base design to permit the circulating nurse to face the surgical field during use. Options: Sloped tops, detachable base, trim kits, extra shelves, monitor mount arms and more are available to be added to the base designs as required to best suit your clinical needs.
