Role: Shop Assistant - Liberties Recycling Training and Development What's Involved? Volunteers needed to assist in preparing and merchandising clothes for sale. This involves: * Selecting, labeling and sizing clothes. * Pressing and hanging clothes for sale. * Dealing with customers. * General shop duties. Where: Dublin 2 (Camden St) When: At least 4 hours a week Role: Residents Befriender - Bloomfield Care Centre What's Involved? Befriending residents who do not receive regular family visits. Where: Rathfarnham, Dublin 16 When: 2 hpw for 6 months. Monday to Friday and also some weekends for befriending Role: Chair of Residents Forum - Bloomfield Care Centre What's Involved? Chairing the residents forum, and independent voice for the residents on how the service is run Where: Rathfarnham, Dublin 16 When: 2 hpw for 6 months. Helpers are needed for gardening and painting in the month of May and June to get out much loved community ready for the Tidy Towns competition. We need painters, gardeners and anyone who can lend a hand for a few hours. DVS are currently recruiting volunteers for the telephone helpline service. *Full training will be provided. Training is for one day a week over seven weeks. Where: Dublin 12 (Crumlin) When: 1 four hour shift for 1 year Role: Boxing Coach - St. Matthew's Boxing Club What's Involved? St Matthews boxing club is looking for boxing coaches to help train our junior and senior boxers and helping to organise boxing events for our club. Anyone becoming part of the coaching team will be a prized asset in out club and will be able to use the superb facilities in the gym and attend all classes free of charge.
