Petroleum Products

CETCO’s Petroleum Products Division supplies various grades and blends of lignite and bentonite to the drilling division of the oil and gas industry. These products are an ingredient in drilling muds that provide increased lubrication, increased solids transport ability, filtration control and better rates of penetration.

We offer a variety of shipment sizes to meet industry needs along with the choice of six bentonite and three lignite offerings. Ranging from raw materials by the boxcar to 2,000 pound bulk bags to privately labeled 50 pound bags sold by the pallet, the CETCO Petroleum Products Division aptly meets the demands of multinational and independent drilling companies, alike.

Raw material for bentonite and lignite are sourced from the highest quality mines in North Dakota and Wyoming. As the capital equipment product line for CETCO Energy Services, CETCO Process Equipment designs, engineers and manufacturers various essential separation technologies for the removal of oils and solids from water produced globally by the oil and gas industry. Oarfish™

CETCO’s Oarfish products are dry process Organophillic clays used in oil-based and synthetic-based drilling mud applications.

They are specially built amine-modified additives designed to act as a rehological additive in oil or synthetic-based fluids and drilling muds. Oarfish products function as a viscosifier and gelling agent to improve the suspension properties and carrying capacities while also activing as filtration control agents that help stabilize the borehole.

eelReelTM

The eelReel service line at CETCO offers a ground-breaking patented technology, used in conjunction with coiled tubing, to completely clean flow lines that are partially or fully plugged to the full ID of the pipe. This innovative product aids in the removal of stuck pigs, paraffin, asphaltenes, scale, sand and general debris. The eelReel can also facilitate line abandonment when pigging and flushing have failed.
