One of our teachers, Miguel Vasquez, shared a wonderful website with us this morning during our in-service/PLC time. The website, which includes different templates for creating games, diagrams, timelines, name pickers, etc… is a great tool for not only allowing students to practice grammar, vocabulary, comprehension, etc…but is also interactive. Check out the website at http://classtools.net for more ideas!

The “Arcade Game Generator” allows you to create interactive games:

2. Enter questions and answers in the box in this form: California?*Sacramento (Question followed by a ? then * and the answer). You must enter 10 lines for the game to correctly load.

3. After entering your information, click on the yellow triangle to choose the type of game you want to play. Wordshoot is really fun by the way!

4. Be sure to save your game before you play so you can use it over and over!! Click on the disk icon, name the game, and then save in your desired location.

5. Click on play to get started!

1. Enter a list of names, then choose either Fruit Machine or Typewriter. The machine will randomly choose names for you. Don’t forget to save to use again!
